Education House believes that some form of corporate giving should be a standard part of a company’s activities, especially in developing societies such as ours.
The ‘Adopt a Child Back to School’ initiative now tagged ‘Take a Child Back to School Scholarship program’ is based on a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) framework developed internally with the appointment of eleven board of trustees, individual who understand the vision and mission of this initiative. It is a framework that takes into consideration not only corporate philanthropy, but educational, economic, environmental, health and social responsibility as well.
As you may be aware, the “Take a Child Back to School” Scholarship program through Education House Aid Office, has so far awarded more than 9,508 (Nine thousand five hundred and eight) brilliant orphans, vulnerable and less privileged boys and girls with tuition-free scholarship in private primary, junior and senior secondary schools in Rivers State and its environs for the past ten years.
